Gorgeous Goat

This goat needed her own post because she was so cute.

There was definitely a goat at the Hillbilly Hoe Down. This goat was sweet and inquisitive. She had an awesome looking barn with chicken friends.

Love this picture. Look at that face.

I am so glad our Hoe Down had a great atmosphere like this.

The Hillbilly Hoe Down

Last friday night Sandals college group and career singles decided to gang up and have a Hoe Down. We all dug deep in our closets and found our treasured hillbilly items.

We all had a darn toot' in good time. Everyone came and enjoyed the hot dogs and root beer floats.

Justin and I all gussied up.

Look at this gorgeous arrangement of boots.

Some of our buddies, Andrea and Matt, even brushed their teeth for the event.

I caught Justin mid- line dance. Just kidd' in, Justin doesn't know how to line dance, but he sure knows how to kick up some dust with those boots of his.

Giving a kiss to my hunky hillbilly.

Baby Bump

Here is the baby bump.

This was taken on Easter at 24 weeks. I am about 6 months and baby is just now sticking out in a noticeable way. Tight shirts show it off the best. Loose shirts just make people uncertain.

Here is a nice pre- baby family shot.

Here I am modestly defining the curvature.

Here it is in all it's glory as well as Justin in comparison. We both seem to be at the same stage.

I am enjoying being pregnant. It is weird to adjust to my changing shape and not being able to do things like I used to, but it is fun! Every week is different. Something is changing all the time and it is so exciting because it's all leading to something amazing. My life and body are adjusting in preparation for a great day when Justin and I can hold our very own son! I wouldn't trade my current situation for anything.

I do have a few of the typical pregnancy ailments at this point which makes it interesting. My newest issues are sore legs from standing, lower back pain, and limited sleeping positions. Other than that I really feel pretty good.

I want to throw belly update pictures on the blog every few weeks so stay tuned. Since my belly is changing in more dramatic ways, the pictures are getting more interesting.

Couple Shots From Easter

HAPPY EASTER!

I think that title goes well with the above picture.

My nephew Caleb and my cousin's boy Sequoia were having a blast in the bounce house on Easter day. Joelle was enjoying the bouncing. She always wants to be where the action is.

Joelle explores the inflated slide. She learned to crawl a few weeks ago and she's taking advantage of her skills.

Look at these gorgeous Easter cookies. They tasted as good as they look. Soft, buttery, and sweet. Mmmm. I should have took one to go. My aunt Joanie and Krysta are responsible for these creations.

Easter is great for many reasons! One of the most awesome things about Easter is that we can be so grateful to God for making a way for our sins to be forgiven. Jesus sacrificed and suffered with us in mind. That is an amazing reality and I am thankful.
